The Friends group and North Lanarkshire Council aim to develop a Winter Light trail. Starting from the Cenotaph, via the Boulevard of lights, then taking a proposed well lit path through Centenary Park ending to admire the projected designs on the Viaduct. This effort is to encourage local people and their children to go out for an evening walk.

We have many more ideas which require funding and will enhance and develop the parks as a vibrant focal point for the local community.
